• Analyse the updated regulatory and institutional landscape for AML/CFT in the EU, focusing on the components and implications of the AML/CFT Single Rulebook. 
• Examine risk-based supervision and strategies for effective AML risk management. 
• Differentiate ML/FT vulnerabilities and risks (sector-specific, activity-based, entity-based), developing tailored risk management approaches. 
• Assess the role and impact of the new AML Authority in adopting and implementing common methodologies, approaches, and supervisory practices within EU AML/CFT supervision. 
• Reflect on AML/CFT challenges, i.e. effective law enforcement, and those raised by crypto-assets, AI and new technologies, and the future of AML/CFT supervision.

This intermediate-level course is tailored for mid- and high-level professionals working in the AML/CFT area, keen on mastering the evolving regulatory and institutional frameworks. It is ideal for representatives from AML supervisory authorities, Financial Intelligence Units, ministries of economy and finance, prudential authorities, central banks, and those in the financial services industry. This course also suits compliance officers, risk managers, legal professionals, and fintech companies looking to stay updated with the latest developments after the review of the EU AML directive (AMLD 6) and adoption of a new AML Regulation, and strategies for robust risk management in anticipation of emerging supervisory trends and potential new risks.

The fee includes tuition, access to all course materials and pedagogic activities, coffee and lunch breaks and social activities, as well as a certificate of attendance after the course has been completed. The fee does not include travel and accommodation expenses or other local transportation costs (taxis, private cars).

GROUP DISCOUNT (-15%) for minimum 3 participants from the same institution:

A group discount is available for institutions registering three or more participants. To qualify, the names of all participants must be submitted together in a single email to FBF. Please note that this offer cannot be applied retroactively to individual registrations completed at different times. Those wishing to take advantage of the group discount must write an email to fbf@eui.eu, stating the full names of the proposed participants.
