Women in Finance: Data, digitalisation and supervision
As part of our 'Women in Finance' lecture series, Petra Hielkema, European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) Chairperson, will discuss the latest data and digitalisation trends and their implications for insurance supervision.
The insurance sector has always been a data-led industry. Today, increasing amounts of data, coupled with new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, are bringing growing opportunities to insurers, supervisors and consumers alike. However, these advances are not without challenges and it is important that all concerned are aware of and understand the risks so that policyholders remain protected.
Chaired by Elena Carletti, Professor of Finance at Bocconi University, this webinar will explore the most recent trends in data and digitalisation, and how they affect insurence supervision.
