Biography

Valerio Novembre is a Research Fellow at the Florence School of Banking and Finance. He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer of Corporate Finance at Sorbonne University and he is a Senior Policy Officer (on leave) at the ESMA Investors Protection and Sustainable Finance Department. Prior to these assignments, he was an Economist in the Research and Policy Department of CONSOB and an Adjunct Lecturer at the European University in Rome and at the University of Florence. Valerio graduated summa cum laude at the University of Florence and subsequently gained an MSc from the London School of Economics and a PhD from the Institutions Markets Technology Institute in Lucca. He has drafted papers on finance and regulation for Italian and international journals.
