Biography

Teresa Simas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tilburg University and a Master’s degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics. She is currently employed at the European Central Bank within the Oversight of Financial Market Infrastructures and Payments, where her work focuses on quantitative analysis. In her role, she supports policy teams by conducting empirical, data-driven analysis of financial market infrastructures and payment systems.
