Biography
Samir Kiuhan-Vásquez is a Research Fellow at the Florence School of Banking and Finance at the EUI. A seasoned economist with over 15 years of experience, he specialises in institutionalising evidence-based policy at the intersection of social inclusion, financial regulation, and digital transformation. His career includes leadership roles at the University of Cambridge SupTech Lab (CCAF) and the Financial Superintendence of Colombia (SFC), where he led global initiatives in supervisory technology and regulatory reform. Samir holds an MPA from Cornell University and a PhD from Università Bocconi.
