Biography

Salvatore Pantaleo is a Policy and Supervision Officer at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), specialising in ICT risk supervision and digital operational resilience of EU financial market infrastructures. He has been closely involved in the development and implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), including the drafting of the Regulatory Technical Standards on the ICT Risk Management Framework. His professional focus includes ICT governance, operational resilience, and risk based supervisory approaches across EU securities markets. He is actively involved in EU level coordination initiatives on cyber resilience and crisis management, contributing to supervisory convergence across authorities.
