Biography
Petter Natås is a senior sustainability advisor at DNB, Norway’s largest bank, boasting a decade-long tenure in the realm of sustainable finance. With a primary focus on climate and nature, he has played a pivotal role in excelling DNB’s sustainability initiatives. Notably, Petter led the development of DNB’s climate transition plan, which was launched in October 2023.
Throughout his career, Petter has demonstrated expertise across a spectrum of sustainable finance topics. His background encompasses climate risk analysis, transition planning and sustainable strategy development, responsible investments, green financing frameworks, and the innovation of green products.
Before assuming his current position at DNB, Petter served as the Corporate Head of Sustainability Reporting at Storebrand, followed by a tenure as a Sustainability Advisor at KLP and KLP asset management. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Development Studies, with a specialization in climate and environment, from the University of Manchester. Additionally, he holds a joint Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Sociology from the esteemed Copenhagen Business School.
