Biography

Patrizia Canziani is Global Head, Capital Markets and Housing, Financial Institutions at the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group. She is a finance professional with more than twenty-five years’ experience in capital markets, credit and structured finance at JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Nomura and MUFG. She held positions as Non-Executive Director at illimity Bank Spa, Korean export-import bank Kexim Bank UK Limited, and global car component manufacturer Sogefi Spa. Experienced in Sustainability, holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing, and the certificate in Sustainable Finance from Oxford University, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. Mrs. Canziani holds a PhD in Economics from MIT and 14 internationally refereed publications in labour-macroeconomics, pension sustainability and fiscal rules.
