Biography

Mitu is a law professor at the University of Virginia.  He specializes in the study of financial contracts, and how they evolve over time.  He has a particular interest in the contract terms in sovereign bonds; a topic on which he has written over a hundred articles – many of them with Lee or Ugo.  His latest research adventure is an investigation of the extent to which sophisticated financial contracts, such as sovereign bonds, often (maybe always) contain landmines.
