Biography

Maria is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Public Sector practice. Maria has 10 years of experience in advising leading financial sector institutions, governments and supervisory agencies across European jurisdictions on broad topics around strategy, organisational reform and AML/CFT capabilities. In particular, she has supported drafting of National and sectoral risk assessments and AML/CFT strategies, has worked with financial supervisors to enhance AML/CFT capabilities and review internal processes and practices, and has helped public sector agencies review operating models and collaboration structures to strengthen national AML/CFT frameworks.
