Biography
Laura Macchioni is a Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance, where she is currently involved in the teaching and training activities of the EU Supervisory Digital Finance Academy. She holds a degree in International Economic and Business Studies (Mag.rer.soc.oec.) from the University of Innsbruck, and a postgraduate master’s degree in European Studies (M.E.S.) from the University of Vienna. Before joining the FBF, she worked at the Economic and Risk Analysis Department of the European Banking Authority (EBA) in Paris. As part of her role at EBA, she was involved in the organisation of the annual policy research workshop and several task force activities focusing on the Basel regulatory framework.
