Biography

Jakob Pedersen is a policy officer at ESMA, where he has worked on regulation and supervision of credit rating agencies and securitisation since 2015. Today, Jakob is a member of ESMA’s Securitisation Team within the department of Ratings Indices and Securitisation. His work focuses on the implementation of the new transparency regime. Prior to joining ESMA, Jakob worked for a London-based consultancy providing technical advice to the European Commission.
