Biography

Francesco is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna, Department of Management. His research has focused on regional development, addressing both macroeconomic and structural microeconomic topics. Before his current position, he served as a research fellow at the Universities of Bologna, Milan, Modena and Reggio Emilia, and Naples “Federico II”, as well as at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. He holds a PhD in Economics and has been a visiting scholar at the Luxembourg Income Study (LU) and the University of Manchester (UK), engaging in international research collaborations on socio-economic development and inequality.
