Biography

Folker de Witte is a Teaching Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance. He holds roles in both government and academia. He works as a Policy Officer at the Financial Markets Policy Directorate of the Dutch Ministry of Finance, while simultaneously pursuing a PhD at the European University Institute. His academic research centres on the coherence of EU disclosure laws in the financial markets, particularly in light of recent developments in digitalization and the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) field. Folker possesses two Master’s degrees in Legal Research and Comparative, European, and International Law.
