Biography

David Ramos Muñoz is an associate professor of commercial law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a regular visiting professor at the Alma Mater Studiorum Università degli Studi di Bologna. He is a member of the European Banking Institute (EBI) and the European Law Institute (ELI). He is an alternate member of the Joint Board of Appeal of the European Financial Supervisory Authorities and an alternate member of the Appeal Panel for the Single Resolution Board (SRB). He also serves as an external legal expert to the ECON Committee of the European Parliament on bank resolution matters. He has extensively published, regularly since 2015 with Marco Lamandini, on banking and financial law. With OUP he already published The Law of Transnational Securitization (Oxford 2010).
