Biography

Claudia Guagliano heads the Innovation Products and Technology Unit in ESMA’s Risk Analysis and Economics Department. The Risk Analysis and Economics Department is responsible for ESMA’s work on identification and assessment of risks to investors, markets and financial stability in the EU in the area of securities markets. Prior to joining ESMA in June 2014, Claudia has worked in the international financial relations department of the Italian Treasury and at Consob.
She holds a PhD in international economics from Bocconi University, a master in economics from Pompeu Fabra University and a degree in economics from Bocconi University.
