Biography

Chiara Sandon has joined ESMA in June 2021 as policy officer in the Sustainable Finance and Investor Protection Department where she contributes to investment fund policy development, including sustainable finance and disclosure. Before joining ESMA, Chiara was at EFAMA, the European Fund and Asset Management Association, covering pensions issues as well as financial education and she has been closely following the negotiations on the Pan-European Personal Product (PEPP). Chiara holds an MSc in Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics where she focused on EU banking and securities regulation. She also holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s in Public Administration from Luiss University in Rome.
