Biography
Anne Choné is Senior Risk Analysis Officer at ESMA, where she is in charge of monitoring financial innovation. Anne has been leading ESMA’s work in the field of Crypto-Assets and authored the ESMA Advice on Crypto-Assets to the European Parliament, Council and Commission, which served as a basis for the legislative proposal for the MiCA regulation. Anne has also coordinated ESMA’s response to the Commission’s request for technical advice on Digital Finance. Before joining ESMA, Anne was Principal at Mercer Investments, where she advised institutional clients on their investment strategies. Prior to that, she worked as a Director in charge of financial institutions at FitchRatings. Anne holds of master’s degree in Finance from NEOMA Business school and has earned the CFA certification.
