Biography
Andrew Whitworth, (PhD and MA the Johns Hopkins University SAIS; BA/MA Oxon University of Oxford) is a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute and an Adjunct Professor at IE University in Madrid. He is the founder of a global policy and regulatory advisory company, and previously worked at the Bank of England and in the fintech and digital finance sector. He is the author of Regulating banks: the politics of instability (Agenda Publishing, 2021) and publishes on UK, EU and global cryptoasset policy and the political economy of digital finance.
