Biography

Alessandro has more than 20 years of experience in strategic consulting, banking and more recently in supervision developed in top-tier international institutions. He is currently responsible for the supervision of globally systemic important banks, as Head of Section and JST coordinator at the European Central Bank, based in Frankfurt. Prior to that, he was Managing Director in the International Risk Management division of State Street based in London and Chief Risk Officer of the Italian subsidiary of State Street. Before joining State Street he was a manager at McKinsey and Arthur Andersen, working internationally with leading financial institutions. His main areas of expertise include Risk Management, Capital Markets and Strategy in the Banking and Asset Management businesses.

Alessandro is positive, motivated and creative, also likes to apply his successful experience and track record of achieving business objectives to new challenging businesses and social initiatives as a Non-Executive Director/Trustee. To support his work experience he has a master’s degree in Economics and Banking at Siena University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Auditor.
