Biography

Alessandro Calza is currently Head of the Market Operations Frameworks Division within the Directorate General Market Operations at the European Central Bank. He has been a staff member of the ECB since 1999. Before taking his current position, he held positions in other departments at the ECB, including Monetary Policy, Economics and Risk Management, and worked as Counsellor to the Executive Board.
