Biography

Alaitz Ayarza is a 4th year PhD student in Economics at the European University Institute. Prior to joining the EUI she lived in Belgium and Spain, where she obtained an MRes (UCL, Louvain) and an MSc (Barcelona GSE) in Economics respectively. Her research is in the field of empirical labour, migration and gender economics. Her work uses both administrative data and belief elicitation via original surveys to understand individual decision making under uncertainty.
