Biography

Jonathan Fernández is a Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance (FBF) at the European University Institute (EUI). Before joining the FBF, he gained professional experience in consulting, working on the analysis and evaluation of public policies, including projects related to finance, business development, digital transformation and economic policy. He also has experience as a researcher and policy analyst and has been involved in policy communication and civil society initiatives focused on economic governance and institutional affairs. Jonathan is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo. He holds a Master’s degree in Economic Governance of the European Union from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
