A webinar on how effective governance, clear leadership roles, and strong board oversight can help banks navigate complexity, strengthen resilience, and drive long-term success.

As part of the Bank Board Academy, the Florence School of Banking and Finance is hosting a webinar exploring how strong governance is fundamental to a bank’s safety, performance, and long-term success.

As banks face increasing regulatory expectations, technological transformation, and evolving risks, the roles of the Board of Directors, the President, the CEO, and executive management have become more critical than ever.

This event will explore the boundaries between governance and management, discuss the Board’s oversight responsibilities, examine the distinct leadership roles of the President and CEO, and share practical insights on fostering effective collaboration, accountability, and strategic leadership. Participants will reflect on how strong governance frameworks can support organisational performance, resilience, and effective transitions, including succession planning.
