Biography

Kasongo Chiwele is an economist with over 6 years of work experience in Credit Insurance, Corporate Banking and Compliance. She is a Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance (FBF) specializing in a vast range of topics in Supervisory Digital Finance within the EU. Prior to Joining FBF, Kasongo worked as an Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) analyst at Stanbic bank Zambia, a member of Standard Bank Group where she ensured that the bank complied with its outside regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal policies and standards.
