The Florence School of Banking & Finance aims to enhance a common culture of regulation and supervision in the Banking & Finance sector, bringing together advanced academic thinking and the expertise of practitioners working in the field. The school does so by offering continued training and facilitating the exchange of best practices, policy dialogue, and applied research.
The school’s objectives are:
- To provide a European forum for independent and critical thought and informed debate bringing together scholars with the world of practice;
- To help professionals keep up-to-date with European developments in this quickly evolving field. In doing so, we hope to contribute to the creation of a common regulatory and supervisory language in the banking sector.
- To provide access to academically robust and practice-relevant knowledge from a multidisciplinary perspective.
Together with our partners, the school helps experts and decision-makers to take informed decisions in the medium and long-term and critically accompany the economically and socially sound functioning of the European banking sector.
